Electrical Insulation Sleeving
Coated fiberglass sleeving — 2715, 2740, 2751, 2753 series across Class B to H.
Insulation sleeving protects lead wires and connections where they leave the winding — the point at which most field insulation failures actually begin. The base is braided fiberglass; the coating determines temperature class, flexibility and chemical resistance.
The four series most commonly ordered are 2715 (PVC coated), 2740 (acrylic coated), 2751 (silicone coated) and 2753 (silicone coated, higher class). They differ in coating chemistry rather than construction, and the choice usually follows the thermal class of the winding they serve.
Sleeving is ordered by internal diameter and it is one of the few categories where buying a mixed size range in one shipment is normal — motor builders typically need six to ten sizes rather than volume in one.

Match the class to the winding
Sleeving at a lower thermal class than the winding it serves becomes the weak point. Match the class, or step above it.

Flexibility vs chemical resistance
Silicone coatings stay flexible at temperature and tolerate varnish; PVC and acrylic are lower cost where thermal and chemical demands are moderate.

Order the size range, not the size
Most builders need several internal diameters. We can consolidate a size range into one shipment rather than quoting each separately.

Ordering sleeving from China
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company for sleeving?
Both. Material comes from our production partners in Xuchang and Jiaozuo, which gives factory-level pricing and the ability to verify what you are buying. Because we are not tied to one line, we can also tell you when something is better made elsewhere instead of selling you what we happen to run.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the item and whether it is a stock grade or made to your width. Small quantities across several materials usually consolidate into a workable shipment even where no single line would clear a factory minimum. Send your list and we will tell you what is workable.
Can we get samples before ordering?
Yes, and for a first order we would encourage it. Sample material is generally free; freight arrangement varies by destination and we will confirm which applies when you enquire.
Can you supply cut or slit to our dimensions?
Yes. Slitting rolls to working width and cutting sheet to drawing are both standard. Tell us the dimensions and, for rolls, your preferred core and roll diameter so the material fits your equipment.
What are the payment terms and lead time?
For a first order, terms are usually a deposit with the balance against shipping documents. Lead time depends on whether items are stock grades or made to your specification — we will give a date against your actual list rather than a general figure.
Which ports do you ship from, and can you quote DDP?
Most shipments go through Qingdao or Shanghai. We can quote FOB, CIF or DDP depending on how much of the import side you want to handle. Tell us your destination port and we will confirm routing and a realistic door-to-door time.
Do you provide test reports or certification?
What is available varies by material and production source. Rather than claim blanket coverage, tell us what your application or your customer requires and we will confirm what can be provided for that specific material before you order.
Can this category ship together with other materials?
Yes — mixed containers across categories are standard for us rather than an exception, and for most transformer and motor builders it is the sensible way to buy.
