Slitting rolls to working width and cutting sheet to drawing moves that work upstream to equipment designed for it. For most buyers the material cost difference is small and the scrap reduction more than covers it.

What tolerances can you hold on slitting?
Achievable tolerance depends on the material and the width. Rather than quote a general figure, tell us the width and tolerance you need and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you order.
Do you charge extra for cutting to size?
Sometimes, depending on the item and how much the cutting pattern wastes. In most cases the scrap you stop paying for at your end more than covers it — we will show you both figures rather than just the material price.
Can you work from our CAD drawings?
Yes. Send the drawing with tolerances and material callout. If anything in the drawing is ambiguous we will ask before cutting rather than assume.
